Just wondered if Tinsley Junior School have shortlisted for the reception job, the closing date was 28/10/11. Not heard anything thats all, thought they would let us know either way. thanks

Schools are really bad at letting you know if you did not get shortlisted. You could call, but from experience you would normally hear within a week or 2 max of closing date if you had been shortlisted.

Why don't you ring the school up, then at least you will know one way or the other?

I imagine if the closing date was 28.10 they will have sent out letters to those that had interviews by now as the interview is usually about week and half-2 weeks after the closing date.

 

From my experience of applying for jobs recently I have only had one school contact me to say I hadnt been successful in my application...others dont tend to especially as from what I have heard some schools have had 60+ applications sents so it is often too many to reply to everyone.
