*still having problems three hours later*

My last PM yesterday had instructions on how to get round this Draggletail. Did they not work?

I have just installed 1.5 and it does seem faster, I cannot get my tabs to work, where it opens in a new tab in same window, but I just right click and do it that way

Hi vidster - I installed it via the direct link provided by HazyJane

http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?postid=752252#post752252

but it loads up the browser with text in strange places and won't work properly anyway.

I'll just have to live with it (v1.5) until spellbound is upgraded.

I will probably get the google/firefox spellchecker meanwhile.

No worries :)

I had the same problem and switched to Tab Mix Plus. Much better than my old Tab Mix

If you feel you need to go back to 1.0.7, give me a shout and i'll give you instructions on how to completely remove all traces of Firefox so you can start with a fresh install :)

I got annoyed that it would lose the field from the text box in the chat room.

For anyone who's extensions don't work:

1. At the location bar, enter: about:config. This will show you a list of Firefox internal preferences.

2. Right-click on the list, select New > String

3. Enter “app.extensions.version” (without quotes) for the preference name.

4. Then, enter “1.0” (without quotes) as the value for app.extensions.version.

4. Restart Firefox 1.5, then enable those disabled Firefox extensions.

5. Restart Firefox 1.5 again to active the extensions. Done.

I've not tested it yet as i'm still using version 1.0.7

I will try it tomorrow

Another well informed view

Why would you go about 'getting' IE then since it's built in to Windows :loopy:

What do you base your 'crap' conclusion on?
