foxy lady Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I saw Albert Lee last week. He takes some beating. Other astonishing guitarists that I've seen in no particular order. Billy Gibbons Eric Clapton Ted Nugent Martin Barre. Paul Fox Joe Bonamassa Matt Schofield Johnny Whitehill Stan Webb Brian May Peter Green Mat Bellamy Zak Wilde I think they all had qualities that you couldn't compare with one another to say who was best. I won't pass comment on guitarists I've never seen. That would be like commenting upon restaurants I haven't eaten in.
horribleblob Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Impossible to say who's the "best', but my favourites are: Jeff Beck Diblo Dibala Rory Gallagher Peter Green Jimi Hendrix Nene Tchako ...plus, Leo Kottke, Martin Simpson and Richard Thompson are darn good too.
