janie48 Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 i see there is a documentary on bbc2 tonight about the late george harrison.it is 10 years this month since he died. he was my favourite member of the beatles.i am looking forward to seeing this programme,it will bring back memories of the "beatlemania " days.i also think he showed great talent as a solo performer.

I have no particular liking for the music of The Beatles, but like the work of Martin Scorsese so am enjoying the way that the story is being presented. Besides, I would hardly describe not knowing that Astrid Kirchherr fancied Stuart Sutcliffe or that the boys slept in a broom cupboard with no washing facilities for a few nights as "hiding". I don't even know that level of detail about bands that I like.
