Manderic charged

I think it only applies to PL bosses for some strange reason (the fit and proper ruling).... I may be wrong though

Notts county and Leeds owners had to pass it Robbie.

I also remember mandaric having to give details of the American companies owners who now own wednesday. He told them he was the sole owner.

True, no one is speculating on the case, its been very civil up to now. There is a third individual involved , who has applied to have his trials and hearings held away from the duo cases .

Bates only came forward that he owned Leeds at the end of last season though, because they may have been refused entry to PL if this wasn't clear.

But, I'm happy to believe what you're saying... was just something I'd picked up.

In his defence...MM is no Robert Maxwell.

Indeed not. It's only for about £180,000 (although it says £100,000 in other reports) so I'm not sure if a guilty verdict would have any effect on Wednesday unless there is some club ownership rule that applies.

I just googled it Robbie and remeber the Bates saga and manderics when he bought wednesday.

£183,000 m8 and before I am jumped on this is not a dig.. but as SWFC know its the TAX man involved who nearly cost them their existence they are not known for going easy

This might make things clearer.

Could be very interesting.

I went to school with Dennis, he lived and breathed Rotherham, a tall lad, always held his own on the terraces in the 80s.

He helped Rotherham unpaid for 2 year when no one else would touch them! sadly he was banned from a box by the new chairman, and he has not followed them since!! 40 years a miller too.

The link is interesting for many reasons.

Yeah I noticed other reports were quoting a higher figure so I edited my post.

This thread is very sad, it involves a live court case and given that we aren’t lawyers or court clerks, I’m rather surprised that the forum allows it to be discussed.

Manderic will be found guilty or innocent and I would suggest that is an appropriate time to discuss what he is alleged to have done.

Interesting comment from the man who started this thread
