My first game was 0-0 v Huddersfield in the mid 70's in Div 3. I earned my view of Waddle and Hirst by watching that side:D The good times will roll again though. The last time that I felt such optimism around the ground was in 1991.

I hope so pal, my o/h dad tells me stories of non seating kop crushes in the 60's when he reckons there must have been 70k in the stadium. Like i said, relatively new so missed the recent ''golden era'' but still ploughed my time and money into S6.....Apology??
Guest sibon Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Are you sure it wasn't october 1983?. I knew that you would have your record books out:) You could be right with the 0-0. I saw Wednesday v Huddersfield and v Middlesborough in 72/73, I think. They were dark times for the club. Who knows why I'm still going after that introduction.
