simonblueeye Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 does anybody no why i can not send pms
Strix Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/profile.php?do=editoptions - enable private messaging your inbox isn't full is it? If you're set to save a copy of sent PMs, you won't be able to send if your box is full, unless you 'go advanced' on your message and uncheck the 'save copy' box
NewBiz Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Could it be you haven't had enough posts yet? I believe there is some rule governing the sending of PMs re number of posts
simonblueeye Posted November 11, 2011 Author Posted November 11, 2011 yeah i think thats it you have to send 5 so im told
Ms Macbeth Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 yeah i think thats it you have to send 5 so im told Before you can send PMs you have to make 5 posts, and you have a post count of 29 - it shows under your name on the forum. You have also been a member for longer than the qualifying time of one week. There appears to be no reason why you can't send PMs unless you have used up your quota. Click on Message Inbox, at the left hand side, and you should be able to see your maximum PM allowances, and how many you have stored. If you haven't yet reduced the numbers of saved messages in your inbox and sent mail, then perhaps this is the time to try.
aardvark6535 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 it say's he has 29 posts, so it isn't that. Full in/out box is my betting.
