Orange (Network) - Coverage, Problems, Advice

Hi all,

 

I'm looking to get a new phone soon and the best option for me is one from Orange. Now, I've never had these as a provider before so wondered if anyone can offer me advice as to if there any good, what the coverage is like etc.

 

I live in Woodseats in flats, and the coverage across providers seems to be pretty random.

 

I've also heard that Orange share the coverage with T-Mobile, so there's always a signal? I don't really understand the whole Wi-Fi thing, but I have an active internet connection at home (if someone could explain Wi-Fi, that would also be awesome!).

 

Any good / bad experiences with these?

 

I'm leaving 3 as they're a terrible provider, O2 is too expensive and vodafone is 50/50 on the coverage (some phones work fine, others not at all).
