It's perfectly possible to remember and support those who have defended our country and given their lives and at the same time to remember all war casualties and wish that such wars never have to happen in future.

 

Because these things aren't mutually incompatible I usually wear a red poppy and a white poppy together. I have had my fabric white poppy for some years though, so I'm glad you found somewhere to buy them from for this year.

If you buy them then it's the PPU, but it's perfectly acceptable to make your own from white fabric or paper, which means that you're making the statement without funding any cause at all.
