Were can I buy White Poppies?

Why dont you contact the british legion and ask them where you can get them from ! Im sure they can help ! I have never personally heard of the white ones ,but that doesnt mean they dont exist ! Its worth a try

 

The British Legion don't supply white poppies, they only deal with red poppies which are sold to raise funds for their charity.

I have donated to the British legion, as i do every year, but I would rather wear a white poppy, as i think everyone affected by war, not just soldiers, should be remembered and should benefit from some charity also.

 

Is that what white poppies are for? Never knew that, I thought they were the same as the red i.e. honouring the fallen soldiers but making a statement that you're against war.

 

Anyway, not sure where to get them, not seen them for years.

I used to know a chap who sold them and gave the proceeds to the Salvation Army (no idea where he got them from) but he died about 10 years ago - haven't seen anyone selling them since

They sell red poppies outside most large supermarkets. They sell 'Tippex' inside most said large supermarkets.

The White Peace Poppy. You can get them on the internet. I ordered some a few days ago. Expecting delivery soon. But you might be a bit late for this weekend.

It is nothing to do with the morons that want to hijack this day and wear a so called white poppy and call it a peace poppy .have there own national day if thats what they want by all means.

But keep this day special for what its meant for.
