AJ sheffield Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Could you not use a network home plug, something like this.
KieronJMW Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Its quicker if you have it in the room you want it in, better connection aswell and faster plus can wire everything up which means faster internet speed specialy seen as me being a gamer which why im looking into it but as i said need advice
Greengeek Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 You might not need something like that. How many other wireless networks can you detect on your laptop? You may be broadcasting on a conflicting channel to one of your neighbours. When I'm setting up wireless networks, I use Wifi Analyser on my android phone, select the new access point I've configured and it will tell me which channel is the best one to be on based on a site survey. Auto channel allocation doesn't always work.
