DerbyTup Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Close. I'm from Eckington. It's twinned with Armenia. And before some twit comes on here and asks "has Sheffield got an Armenian restaurant" the answer is "no - but Manchester has got one of course". See here... http://armeniantaverna.co.uk/

DerbyTup Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Hey.. Derby Tup.... as in the Folk Music??? Possibly! named after the folk play/mummers play which was acted out in just a handful of North East Derbyshire villages in days gone by. Of which I am from one. Too young to remember doing the DT myself though - but heard all about it! And have enjoyed a fair bit of tupping of a different kind - so seemed appropriate.
