Help Needed With Networking Computers

Hello all,

Not sure if this thread is in the right area, (sorry if not)

We are a small Care Home in S10 and we need some help with networking two computers and a printer together.

We wopuld like both computers to beable to access the same files and both print to the same printer.

Is this possible? Can any one recomend someone to help with this.

its an easy task to perform, takes about 20 minutes and requires a usb stick to set the required network up.

I'd be tempted to just say "type 'guide to windows networking'" in Google and read up.....

 

...but you are a care home. And presumably the printer means that inevitably there are going to be Data Protected bits of your patients data flying about. Which means you aught to get someone in to do it, so you can blame them if it goes wrong later.

Have you considered getting an IT support contract? They cost about £200 per computer and you get five-day a week support with any problems.
