MAC33 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 After watching a repeat of the 6-1 derby win i have to say there was nothing lucky about the score. in fact could have been more. can see Man.Utd finishing around 10 points clear in 2nd place ahead of a few teams grouped together. Money talks,so can see for possibly first time a team getting to the 100 point mark, out of maximum 114. Time i think for Sir Alex Ferguson to retire, now he has a decent team to compete against.
taxman Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Ferguson has had a number of decent teams to compete against, Wenger's Arsenal 4-5 years ago, Mourinho's Chelsea.....but they came and went.

0742Sheff Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Time i think for Sir Alex Ferguson to retire, now he has a decent team to compete against. I wish you had started your post with that. I wouldn't have wasted any more seconds reading on.
CorkerSWFC Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Just on the Man City comment I have to say Man City will take some stopping, i fancy them for the league and at least one of the cups. Whichever team Mancini seems to pick they look dangerous and there squad is amazing, the strongest in the league by a mile. There is spending money and spending money City have took it to another level. Look at Man Utd last night having to play Rooney in midfield cause they didn't have a big enough squad to cover that position, City won't have those sort of problems to deal with.
pcman Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 forget about the past and look at the facts of this season manchester city are playing like champions and i think now that they will win the league and a cup if not two they have grown in the last season or two and now the players are playing as a team and are playing the best football in the league they have a good manager and a good squad who continue to get results week in week out and there scoring for fun great place to be at the moment yes it is to earlt in some ways to say who will win the league but at the moment looking at the facts its in the favour of manchester city ....................
Zepp Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 City have such depth in squad that they can rest Sergio Aguero in a crucial champions league away game.
HeadingNorth Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 forget about the past and look at the facts of this season Foremost among which is that it's not even halfway through yet, and most teams which get off to amazing starts tend not to keep them up. Can they win the league by a huge margin? Yes. Will they? Very probably not.
macaw-2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 man city are playing like champions but can they play like champions till end of season like man utd can will city be able to take the pressure lets see but im still saying man utd to win league
pcman Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 man united are not playing well either are chelsea and arsenal they are all having problems with there defence
