Silver Dollars - Breeding??

Hi. I have got 2 silver dollars which we have had for about 6months or so now and they are a good size. This is probably a really stupid question, but can you breed them? I don't know if they are different sex or not, but one is just silver, and the other has a red bit on its tail. Anyone know?

I believe the ones with red bits are males, but I don't know if its a species that is easily bred in captivity. I do love watching them at feeding time though Greedy buggers!
