Tabby Cat found Woodseats S8 Help Needed

Recommended Posts

I have a very sweet young female tabby cat who has strayed into our garden. I have been feeding her for a while days now. I have enquired locally and nobody has lost a cat. I need some help to get her to the vet to see if she is microchipped and lost. Unfortunately I don't drive and am new here in Sheffield and unsure of the area. Can anybody in the Woodseats area lend a hand? Many thanks, Geraldine:sad:

Hey, I live in Norton Lees and have lost a small female Tabby cat.

Does the cat you have found have a collar?

My cat is called pebbles and has an amber nose. I do think that you may be abit to far away from where I live but I can also hope that it my be mine!

She is microchipped.

It nice to know that people are looking after lost cats and are kind enough to post on here just incase the owner is looking on here too.

I hope you do find a owner for this cat and that the owner could possible be me!

Hi Teeny, thanks for replying. I live up on Cartmell Road and it is a wee bit far to walk with her and I think she would be very traumatised with the traffic. Also the cat box I have is a double one and really heavy. I don't want to try getting a taxi to bring her to the vet in case she poos and they throw me out ;-). But thank you for replying. I have spoken with CLK1 and they are coming to have a look but not so sure as this cat has been in and out of my garden for a few weeks now and their cat is only missing for 1 week. They will come and have a look anyway as the description is very close but quite a distance from me. Thanks Geraldine

City taxis are very good with pets and its not far , I used to live on woodseats rd many years ago getting to peak vets isn't hard really , she won't be tramatised and is probably used to it . I know its away from where CLK lives but not impossible we had a cat go missing the other summer from Meersbrook and he turned up in Doncaster cats are nosey and so who knows maybe it could be .

Hi Teeny, thanks for that advice. I will try City Taxis tomorrow. I just know that she is somebody's little baby. She is loveable, sweet wee thing. She is getting well fed but I am finding it a bit difficult to have in her inside much as I have another cat and they don't see eye to eye! Regards, Geraldine

Hi,

I'm not too far from you if you need a lift to the vets, but if she is not micro-chipped what are you planning to do? Would you be looking after the cat and giving it a week to see if anyone does claim it?.

Just an update on this tabby cat in Woodseats. I brought her to the vets but she isn't micro chipped. I am still asking locally and hope to find her owner. If nobody turns up then we will give this little girl a home. I just have a feeling that she is so sweet that she is somebody's little girl and I would not like to keep someone else's pet. Thanks to Teeny and Mute Witness for their replies and help and CLK1, I hope your little woman turns up soon, fingers crossed for you.
