Help needed with Palfreyman family in Sheffield.

Recommended Posts

There was a Geoffrey Palfreman who was on the board of directors at Thos W Ward

In the 70s.

He lived opposite the fire station in Dronfield. He later retired to the coast.

Hope this helps.

I went to school with Michael Palfreyman. He would have been born around 1961. He emigrated to Australia when he was about twelve. He lived on Retford Road in Handsworth.

There was, until the mid-70's a grocery store at the corner of Petre Street and Maxwell Street run by Sydney Palfreyman. There is a photo on Picture Sheffield (s26451).

They lived further down, about four or five doors below. They lived with their grandparents, can't remember why, their mum used to visit them.

Didn't Finnegans get bought by Frederick Palfreyman Associates (FPA) in the 70's ??

Palfreyman was connected in the late 60's also.
