light as possible rigs yes, but with todays puller systems its easy to fish with light elastics all year round, its what your happy with yourself. Lets hope we dont get the severe weather we got last year lads!!

You're dead right DaveGas, it seems some anglers need to fish heavy just because a venue holds Carp.

Then again it's impossible to fish with light lines when some of the cheaper rods on sale are nothing less than boat rods.

As for the weather I hope the same as you.
