i am wanting a desktop computer with a monitor from comet and i am allowed £650 on a comet finance payment card, so am in desperate need of an upgrade

Buying any product from high street retailers on finance is a bad idea

Comet Financial products related to purchases have an annual APR of 24.9%

 

A £600 computer with repayments spread over 4 years will cost around £900

thats about £19.00 a month

No they haven't.

 

There is an expectation that around mid-november leadtimes from the main players such as WD will increase, and possibly we may see some prices rise as much as 25%

 

That's all well and good, but you try and find a HDD in stock anywhere for the sensible prices we could get a month ago.

 

Scan, Aria, Tekheads, Ebuyer, Novatech, Play, All expensive.

 

I've ordered a 2Tb Toshiba HDD with the intention of removing the internal drive.

Cost me £80. Payment is showing as processed and the price has now increased on the site.

 

Trouble is, it's been sat in showing as "In the warehouse" since the 30th of October.
