Hi

I am trying to make contact with anyone who might know my grandad- he was born in 1918 but I do not know at what age he entered the home at Fulwood- I do know that all his siblings went too and were eventually returned to their mum my great Nan.

My grandad's name was Ernest Turton and he was born in Wortley.

my email is tromsm@yahoo.co.uk

Many Thanks

A bit of a shot in the dark this but, my freind is trying to find info about his mother who was in a home in sheffield which he thinks was fulwood, he did not find out until she passed away, and is not sure about fulwood, so i said i would ask if anyone knows of her in the thread on this forum "FULWOOD".

HER NAME WAS ALICE BEGGARE.
