joiner andy Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 the stone roses wrote one of the all time best, classic albums, why does the radio never play their tunes? we have classic FM, but thats not my generation! why cant we have a new more updated magic radio station with tunes from MY era? if this gets off the ground i want royalties!!!!
Halibut Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 radio 6 Has everything you need This is actually true.
Halibut Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 what frequency is that? It's digital. You can listen on a digital radio or online. Incredibly varied selection of music. I invariably find something excellent that I've never heard before* every time I have it on. And usually something I love but haven't heard for ages too.
joiner andy Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 im going to have to get a digital radio then
Halibut Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 im going to have to get a digital radio then There can sometimes be problems with reception in Sheffield ( I live at Hillsborough and it's excellent ) but that aside I can thoroughly recommend it. Really wide choice of station clear sound with no distortion and you don't need to do all that tedious fiddling with the tuning knob to get what you want.
neeeeeeeeeek Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music click listen I have it on at work through the computer.
joiner andy Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 i like a bit of indie, and a bit of old piano dance classics
Halibut Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 i like a bit of indie, and a bit of old piano dance classics I reckon you'll find those no bother. I sometimes find myself listening to the Craig Charles Funk and Soul show - I don't particularly like Craig Charles or soul or funk, but he's so bloody enthusiastic and well informed it's damn near impossible not to be drawn in and enjoy it.
