Have recommended them in another thread but will do so here. Sparklers on London Road, opposite Tesco Express have loads of huge ones, i've been using them a few years now and my dad at least ten prior to that, so wouldn't go anywhere else. There is a 3 for 1 offer on some as well.

 

You have to get your hand's on a huge one or you will be left wanting, but make sure it has a strong shaft or it could fire out anywhere. I have tried smaller ones in the past but never felt fulfilled. The bigger it is the better the bang, and i just love it when it goes off!!

Does anybody know where to buy big, display standard fireworks? I want to buy a really PHAT rocket or two? SOmebody mentioned Black Cat fireworks are good? Thanks

I drove past a place on Abbeydale road yesterday that have a buy one get 2 free offer on . Seems very cheap to me but I don't know what make they are etc but the shop is near the broad field pub

If it's an incredible bang you're after, it's important that your rocket has a lot of thrust- you don't want it going off in your face! But incessant banging isn't always a good thing- it can annoy the neighbours and scare pets for a start. How about a couple of large Orioles? I remember our dad used to treat us with a Golden Rain, and I still enjoy a 12-inch candle as a climax to our evening.
