i would fish a good size live bait off the bottom and a smelly deadbait on the deck. cats have poor eye sight and rely on vibration and smell to catch their prey.

sounds like a plan that mate,also dont for get big hallibut pellets they love'em string 5-6 on a hair aswell as deads and live like stated above
