I do find it strange how they come up with this stupid figure. Given how many people are living in our country illegally. And the government records of some of the countries. How do you maintain an accurate global populus. We've probably passed 7 billion last week.

You invoke the law of very big numbers ... on a global scale, it's reasonable to assume that all the inaccuracies cancel each other out.
