You need two things - hosting and a domain name

There are litteraly thousands of options of where to get these from, even people on this forum will be able to offer you reasonable hosting and domain, and if you ask nicely even nudges in the right direction if you get stuck with anything.

Don't want to make it look like all sales speil, but I can do all this as can a few other members on here.

There are also other options like free web hosting sites - i'm not a fan of these as they tend to be template driven, or very restrivtive with what you can and can't do. If you're learning this may be an issue. Much better to get your own hosting - and it's tens of pounds per year rather than hundreds, so not a massive expense.

Depends on the host. http://www.000webhost.com/ offers free PHP/MySQL hosting with a small advert inserted into each page (footer).

I'm not saying write off the free offering if they suit - just that they have restrictions, like making you have adverts as you point out.

I was more trying to make the point that paid hosting doesnt have to be expensive, and I think that a small outlay gets you so much more. It's not like the jump is from free hosting to hundreds or thousands of pounds.

You could do it a few ways - depends what you're trying to do.

If the name of the site doesnt really matter have one main site, with a few sub-domains for each? Then you only pay for one domain name and one chunk of hosting.
