Help! Need a wedding venue

Hiya

Hope you can help... We are getting married next April 21st and have been forced to change our venue  so are looking for another. We have about 160 guests and a silly small budget. We are looking for a field or Barn in the Derbyshire / Sheffield area, or a village pub that could hold us all. I would love to afford a historic and quaint venue and will consider all. Does anyone have any land that they spare for the weekend?

Any suggestions welcome :D

Try the Cutlers' Hall.

They are open to negotiation and the two reception rooms should be the right size (the first to get married in and the second to hold a low cost buffet in. Then both to get ****** in.

When you call them try to be sure that you talk to Brenda or David. Tell them that Adam says hello.

You may find more answers if you ask this on the Wedding sub-forum (under the interests section.) How small is silly small? Are you looking for somewhere to do the ceremony as well as the reception, or just the reception?

How about bradfield village hall or the plough pub in bradfield? Also Worral memorial hall (Worral near hillsbrough) or the old rectory in handsworth?

Where abouts in Sheffield are you looking?

Have you tried the big hotels in Sheffield city centre, Kenwood Hall, St Pauls etc we looked at loads of venues and they do reduce prices if you negotiate with them, for big numbers and the promise of filling bedrooms you are in a good position to haggle. Mary x
