Where to get fresh xmas turkeys

Recommended Posts

I drive past the turkey place on Hangram Lane twice a day. We always know Christmas is getting close when they put out the hay bales that they make into turkeys by adding the wooden head and tail! I've never dared go in and ask how much their turkeys are in case they're so expensive I have to say no! Could any of you good people who use them give me an idea of their prices please? Thank you!

There's an alpaca farm up there too! I guess if you plucked one and chopped the back legs off it'd look pretty indistinguishable from a very big turkey! :D

Does anyone have a telephone number for Hangram Farm to order a turkey?

Can anyone tell me rough size to go for per person?

Thank you!

Bacon, sausage and pies and black pudding all from our fields.

They come from your fields? I'd rather mine from a kitchen ;)

Sorry only just seen this! They are £4.25 a lb (real meat co online are about double that!). Think they still have some left. They also have turkeys.
