After our sell out birthday event at Penelopes, we're back with a massive Cool Beans blowout! Our biggest event to date, we're bringing four very different, yet equally amazing acts that are all worthy of headline status....

 

DJ WOODY

For the very first time, the mighty DJ Woody will be showcasing his mesmerising visual feast ‘Turntables in Technicolor’ in Sheffield. The show itself was born upon the concept of producing a compl...etely original, eye-popping & crowd-rocking audio/visual DJ performance using 100% bespoke material. Put it this way, he is to date the only non-American DJ to be invited to perform at the US DMC Finals; this will be a very special night indeed.

DUTTY MOONSHINE

Swing for the rave generation and rave for the swing generation. With backgrounds of Drum and Bass, Hip-Hop, Funk, Electro and Breaks and a passion for vintage music, scantily clad ladies and dapper décolletage comes a magnificent duet DJ show. Bringing you back to the 30's with big bad dutty basslines thrown in to satisfy all those insatiable needs, these guys will be finishing off the night by throwing the wildest swing rave around.

NEW TOWN KINGS

New Town Kings are a 9 piece ensemble that play brilliant and catchy as hell ska/reggae music. Fronted by Chris Watts, they’ve released two fantastic LPs and have been rocking venues all around the UK and Europe for some time. True rocksteady footsompers!

BALKAN BANDITS

Sheffield darlings The Balkan Bandits will be opening the show in a spectacular fashion. Just as exciting on big festival stages as they are at a sweaty Na Zdrove clubnight, The Bandits provide the finest mix of brass, cabaret, klezmer, wailing, balkan and oom pah pah!

Since their formation in a dusty attic in 2010, the lovely James and Alex have rocked houseparties, basements, fields and clubs, including such high profile events as Valve, Wait and Hip Hop Ha Ha. Naturally emerging themsleves within a variety of different styles, they'll be performing two special Cool Beans sets for your enjoyment!
