What a pity your son isn't 16 years old. If he was I'd offer him a placement right now and teach him how to set up and run a business.

 

Unfortunately your son is only 14 and due to his age he is not allowed to work full time, not even as a volunteer.

 

I'm very sorry I cannot help him. I wish him the very best of luck. It's nice to know some young people are keen to train for work instead of being public layabouts.

if your son is interested in sports ect you could try ponds forge as i know they do 2 week work placements there

Tried Ponds Forge & all major leisure ceters around South Yorkshire but either they dont do it or have already filled the places.
