Apple / fruit / cider press

Looking to borrow / possibly acquire a good sized apple press for cidre making.

 

Anyone have any leads / ideas where i could get hold of one?

I have a fruit press you may borrow.

It is made of Stainless Steel.

Are you aware that apples take an awful lot of pressing if they haven't been frozen first

Not for making apple juice. You want to extract the juice from the pulp, rather than just blend it all together.

Apple pressing is very intensive - you have to chop and pulp the apples before pressing them to extract juice.

 

To the OP - I do have a little press but it's in quite constant use at the moment. Give me a shout if you still need it in a month or so.

My juicer works fine and produces lovley apple juice with the pulp removed.

I obviously stand corrected. I juice on quite a large scale though so a press is definitely needed for me
