We've just had the cellar ceilling insulated by Keep Sheffield Warm, they've done a really good job. If your thinking of having some insulation work done, give them a call

Are you expecting another cold winter this year? Pipe lagging is something I don't have but am seriously considering it.

As a cheap option, i've put 100mm polystyrene between the joists within the cellar... keeps the lounge a bit warmer, and is relatively cheap!

2 metres of lagging..a tapcover..and a Tag attached to mi stop tap so I can find it?

Oh..and a few cable ties.

 

You're havin a laugh!

On York Water website you can also request for free insulation for outside pipes and taps to be sent to your homes. Ive had one sent to ours and mother in laws place to prepare for next winter. Quite handy.
