Balsphemy.

Leaving Islam.

Adultry.

Women who've been educated.

Does the RC church flog women for:-

Going out alone.

Driving a car.

Getting raped.

Britain was doing what all leading powers at the time did otherwise we'd have been invaded had we not gained strength through the empire and you'd probably been speaking French or Spanish today.

Islam may still be still in medaeval times along with the states that follow islam but the rest of the world has moved whereas states where islam is dominant still carry out the above barbarics today.
