well i managed to get it on at just after 8pm and i started at 6pm seems ok

This confirms what was said earlier in this thread as to the cause.

 

I'll update my iPhone 3GS and my sister's - plus her daughter's iPod touch - on Tuesday when the dust has settled and the bugs are (hopefully) known. I've advised my wife to hold back with her iPad and iPod touch until then too.

Said 3hrs to download last night, 14 minutes this morning. I've been accused of being an Apple fanboy, but I can't really see what all the fuss was about. It's ok.

I got mine done at 6.15 and it took 20 mins I'm selling my iPad now

just been playing with icloud online, it seems pretty good finds phone and contacts and stuff, be a shambles though if it got hacked

The battery life I think hasn't changed at all I still think 10 hours constant use on the iPad is great but I think the iPhone battery needs to longer
