How Did Sheffield Treat It's Dead? A Radio Documentary

Recommended Posts

The way we treat our dead tells as much about our attitude towards life as it does about our belief in an afterlife. Well, over at 'Cornucopia Radio', we've recently produced a new documentary for our 'Mind Labs' slot looking at the treatment of Sheffield’s dead at the beginning of the 19th century and asking what this can tell us about the birth of our modern city.

During the 30 minute show, we talk to Peter Machin about the Sheffield 1832 Cholera outbreak, Fred Donnelly about the 'Sheffield School of Anatomy' and lastly we chat with the 'Friends of the General Cemetery'.

It's all online for listening and downloading www.mindlabs.co.uk/the-dead-and-their-place
