It was so loud, that it echoed!!! scared my dog!!!

Thought at first it was a very loud firework nearby but if it was heard in Woodhouse then maybe not!!!

I live between Woodhouse and Handsworth and I heard it it sounded more like an explosion to me.

I kno theres a fire on the corner of broadfield rd and london rd, the whole building is ablaze not sure if that could be the noises

That'll probably be a bit too far away for Woodhouse to hear I think.

Could be the RAF. Recently there has been more Fighter Jets flying over Sheffield, albeit up at Lodge Moor. I recall posting a thread on here about hearing a sonic boom. Now whilst its illegal to go supersonic overland without the explicit permission of their senior officers, pilots can achieve supersonic by accident.

I fear I know what it was... You know how we had the Big Bang to start the universe? Well my studies have shown that when we get 2 Big Bangs in quick succession (as has clearly happened here) the Universe will start to contract again.

 

So we only have around 13.6 billion years to go people, make the most of it!
