Guest sibon   #14 Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) The odds on winning the lottery are 1 in 13,983,816 (source). Yet someone always seems to win it. So does this mean, you have more chance of being hit by a falling satellite than winning the lottery?  And you have a 1 in 21000000000000 chance of heading the satellite tomorrow.  So you are considerably more likely to win the lottery jackpot. Millions of times more likely. Edited September 23, 2011 by sibon maths better than english
 Share this content via...
HeadingNorth   11 #15 Posted September 23, 2011 So do I need to sleep under the kitchen table tonight or will I be safe in my bed?  The kitchen table wouldn't save you so I'd just go to bed as normal.
 Share this content via...

Guest sibon   #19 Posted September 23, 2011 So do I need to sleep under the kitchen table tonight or will I be safe in my bed?  Put the table under the bed. Sleep under the table.  Doubly safe.  Don't forget the rollover.
 Share this content via...
