In 1987 I went to these nightclubs/pubs at least once each:

 

Gossips, Isabellas, Maximillions, Al-E-Cats, The Roxy, Cairo Jax, Josephine's and Sinatra's. That's more in one year than in the 18 years since.

 

(Another thread was asking where you can get a pint of Harp Lager from. I recall visiting the Rutland Hotel and drinking a pint of Harp in their bar - this will be around 1987.)

 

Occasionally we'd leave the West End and go down West Street. Pubs then were: Rockwell's/B-Hive; Mailcoach, Hornblower, Hallamshire, Red Deer, West Street Hotel, Frog and Parrot. Usually our group would rush back to the West End for last orders, 10.30 in the week, 11 Fridays and Sundays IIRC.
