Revill Lane Woodhouse

Recommended Posts

My mum was born at 7 Revill Lane in 1910, I can only find no's 15-21 that are the same type of house that she was born in, my cousin tells me that the actual house was the one now numbered 21. Does anyone know if the houses were renumbered when the newer ones were built further up the lane next to these older properties. Hope this makes sense.

I live on Revill Lane and don't have a clue. I could ask the neighbours for you.

The block of four houses on the west side of Revill Lane were numbered 1, 3, 5 and 7,

(looking at a 1970 map & 1965 street directory)

so your cousin is correct

Hey me-and-pippo

Thank you so much for that info, I originally thought that the house I was looking for had been pulled down, this is great news for me as I now have a photo of the house my mum was born in.

Thanks everyone for all your help

Sorry to resurrect a very very old post, but my nan lived at 5 Revill Lane in the 1940's. Seems that No 7 and No 5 have now been combined into one house.

Just thought that was interesting!
