(9/9/11 10:45am) Witnesses for a hit and run on the M1/M18 north junction?

I was hit by a driver who pulled off the M1 and onto the M18 sliproad and right into my side. I stopped on the hard shoulder, but he drove off up the M1.

 

I was driving a dark blue 54 reg Clio. He was in a silver Corsa, perhaps about 8 - 10 years old. Not a new model, but has a newer plate style. The driver was a young male, under 20 from the glance I got.

 

I was left quite shaken up and didn't manage to get his registration details. If anyone witnessed this and managed to get it, could you please report it to your local police station?

Might be worth while contacting the police and asking if there are any CCTV on that particular stretch of the motorway.Glad your OK.

The police came to me as I called them immediately. I was trapped between the M1 and the M18 and as I said, shaken up from the experience and needed some help.

 

They have cameras there, but they don't record, they monitor live, so nothing can be played back and recovered.
