Stuart Green   0 #17 Posted August 27, 2020 Hi All Thanks for your responses on the  minerva Tavern. The last time I was in England around 5 or 6 years ago The site of the old Minerva tavern was a multi storey building with a Casino at street level. The Roebuck was still in the same place opposite the Minerva but I am not sure whether it was closed down or not I think the Barley corn was shut down. The Howard hotel was still open and appeared to be thriving Before I left England to live in Australia I lived at High Green and used The Queens Head for my Local. I believe it is still open after being shut down for some time
 Share this content via...
