I dont understand why people still buy dvds have u heard of blu ray??

I know I might seem a bit dim but can someone explain the difference between Blue-ray and DVD

A Blu-ray disc can hold a lot more information than a DVD disc, and as such a Blu-ray player will use this higher amount of information to play a movie with a lot better picture and sound quality, if your television is up to showing it.

Why buy any disc, it's old fashioned technology just like tape or vinyl, have you heard of streaming, hard drives and flash drives as a medium!

 

2 problems with streaming, it requires a Ninja PC and a SUPER fast Broadband connection, and it also eats up your download allowance, I only get 40 Gig a month, I don't use anywhere near that even with Xbox 360 downloads at the moment.
