Short film writer - help finding a crew

Hi there

 

I've written a screenplay for a short film, with the intention of submitting it for inclusion at next year's Sensoria festival.

 

Does anyone have any ideas regarding the best way to 'recruit' a couple of actors/cameraman/director?

 

I know there are a couple of film/doc networking groups in the city (there's one called Shooting People iirc) which I would consider joining.

 

Any aspiring directors/actors here?

I've actually started working with a producer and director on this particular project, but I'd definitely be keen to get something else off the ground.

 

I have a 2-3 minute short screenplay that I think might work quite well (especially given some of the locations you mention on your website) - I can PM it to you so you can see what you think if you like?
