Does this pub/building still exist and where abouts was it in Brightside?

Star Inn ...Danville Street.... 1883 - 1960

 

The area is known as Burngreave these days ....but perhaps it was refered to as being in the Brightside Bierlow at some stage .

Doesnt appear on here which is by no means a definitive list, i can remember a boozer on Meadowhall road about where the interchange was built but cant recall its name sorry

 

There is the Sun at the botton of Jenkin Road incase youve got the name wrong

That pub might have been the FOX & GRAPES ... was on the junction of Meadowhall Rd and Alsing Road .

The pub where the interchange now stands I think was the Pheasant, used to go in there about '80-'81

I think that was the Pheasant on Attercliffe that became the Stumble Inn and is now an Indian Restaraunt

Ah yes it was I think the Pheasant ,used to house the brightside branch of Blades supporters club at one time .Thats when I used to go in around the late 70`s and eraly 80`s
