Rob_1 Â Â 10 #158 Posted December 27, 2012 Yes it's not Mosborough is it. But if it brings jobs to the area it's good news. The traffic on the other hand will be murder. Â Yep, getting out of Birley Spa Lane or Drakehouse Crescent onto Moss Way when it's busy is a nightmare now. Add a supermarket there and surely they are going to have to put traffic lights at the junctions.
 Share this content via...

handypandy   14 #160 Posted December 27, 2012 For those still not sure of the layout, I have roughly over laid a copy of the plan on to a google map HERE    .
 Share this content via...
the_rudeboy   12 #161 Posted December 27, 2012 For those still not sure of the layout, I have roughly over laid a copy of the plan on to a google map HERE   . The layout has changed quite significantly. The roundabout has gone and is to be a signal controllled T junction.
 Share this content via...

Have any traffic controls been put on Moss Way to enable people to get out of Birley Spa Lane and Drakehouse Crescent? There are regular accidents there as it is. the_rudeboy   12 #168 Posted December 28, 2012 Depends if it's been requested by SCC as part of the terms of granting planning permission.  Any conditions placed on a Section 278 agreement by a local authority have to be warranted, they can't just request whatever they want and expect a developer to fund it, no questions asked.
