Driving Instructor Megathread - Part 2 Do Not Advertise in here

Recommended Posts

So, if anyone has any other recommendations (will give Go For It a try) please let me know, and alternageek, let me know how you get on!

Total  for Michelle. Felt like I was driving with a friend and not an instructor. Have booked more lessons with her and going to discuss with my partner about purchasing a block of lessons as well.

I just passed my test in an automatic with Rob Shields, he is very good but does like to sing!

I am currently having lessons with Rob and i don't mind his singing...,. as long as he doesn't sing the same bit of the same song ALL the time. Makes the lesson more fun and less formal.

If you are looking for a reliable, professional and easy to get along with instructor then please give Matt a call on 07799361254 or email: Matthirst79@blueyonder.co.uk

I have been taking lessons with Matt & I have to say he is by far the best instructor I know and his pass rate speaks for itself!! fantastic instructor.

Thanks

There's a lot of other threads on this already. Still, may as well kick the ball rolling. My fiancé just passed first time with horizon. Alan was very good and she was nervous before she started. Nothing but praise.

Police warning over unlicensed driving instructors

Police are warning learner drivers to ensure instructors are properly qualified, after roadside checks found some giving lessons were unlicensed.

The Metropolitan Police told the BBC that if people were not taught properly it could impact long-term road safety.

The Driving Standards Agency has undertaken 30 roadside operations since 2011 to target illegal instructors in England, Scotland and Wales.

On average a suspected illegal instructor is reported to it daily.
