silverknight 10 #4 Posted August 7, 2011 From Cannon Hall website: We are easy to find next to Cannon Hall Museum about 5 miles west of Barnsley, signposted of the A635 and only 10 minutes from junction 37 of the M1. Follow the signs for “Cannon Hall” then “Open Farm Only”. If you want to use the bus, the 92 service from Barnsley runs daily from the 24th July into Cawthorne village. We are then only a pleasant stroll away through the grounds of Cannon Hall. On Sundays, the 92A service operates directly to our own car park. jesseeee 10 #8 Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) I used to work in the garden centre years ago, I know the buses have recently changed but I used to get the 92 from barnsley interchange Its now at 30 minutes past every hour going and 57 coming back, takes about 25 minutes. You can get off in cawthorne village at tivy dale/tivy dale drive bus stop and walk up towards some bungalows ul tivy dale and I believe the next street is called the park and straight down through a gate and down a little hill into the park which takes about 10 minutes. alternatively get off in the village and its about a 15 minute walk round the main road following the road signs. Ridgewalk 97 #10 Posted August 8, 2011 Once you've been you will return. Ideal for kids, play area, farm, masses of space for running around, child friendly cafe serving scrumptious food. However it's a fair old trek by public transport from Sheffield
 Share this content via...
