Yes that's it for the city centre. The other Sam Smiths pubs in Sheffield & area are:

 

1 Mother Redcap, Bradway

2 Cow & Calf, Grenoside

3. Traveller's Rest, Oughtibridge

4. Red Grouse, Stocksbridge

5. New Broom, Rotherham

6 Saxon, Kiveton Park

 

There may well be others - if so Forummers please add to this list.

Hop Pole, Ollerton - near enough perhaps - and possibly the largest beer garden in the world. Positively gargantuan.

Sorry if I confused you with my last post. Not quite Newark, but yes Ollerton village, out following the A616, I did say Sheffield and area, maybe I drew the area too large, though I think nothing of travelling 40 or 50 miles to try out new boozers. Owlerton, (think dog track and Hillsborough) has no Sam Smiths pubs at all.

I thin he means Ollerton as near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire??? I don't think Newark has a area that is called Ollerton... Don't confuse the Ollerton Hop pole with the Retford one either...

I don`t know if this is the same place, but either way with ref to my OP i was interested in Sheff or very close to. I don`t consider Notts OR Newark OR Retford close to Sheff centre.

The Saxon doesn't do Real Ale and neither does The New Broom, even though they did and it was really good.
