I remember Fred Poole delivering coal to our house on Melville Road, There was a Rita Poole who was in the same year as me at school.

 

I used to live on Melville Road, with my mum and dad, Ian and Sue.

 

Have you seen Burton's Butchers re-created in Weston Park Museum?

Hi, iv just been reading this thread and I am Barry Goodisons grandaughter. It would be nice to hear some stories or memories of him from people he knew as he's just recently passed away. Look forward to hearing from anyone x

Hi there people. Does anyone know how old the Noose Gibbet building is on Attercliffe. I know it was the Railway pub at one point but im not entirely sure what it was before that. Can anyone enlighten me?

I lived on Surbiton Street just 25 yards down from the Railway and Enfield pubs ,  anyone else from there ?

Or  did anyone go to Carbrook junior school ?    Get in touch .
