Which area of Sheffield would you choose if you could move there today?

I would consider moving to two places (in the UK) away from Lodge Moor:

 

1, Ranmoor;

 

2, York.

 

No other area of Sheffield interests me.

 

I'm happy where I am, on nature's doorstep with good amenities and facilities, shops, bus routes and schools. My girls are settled here and I'm a two minute walk from my local.

 

Plus, we're a part of the weather here.

 

Surprised Lodge Moor has not been mentioned more. Used to live up there and absolutely loved it, the very best of both worlds if you enjoy city and country life and as you say, it has it's very own climate.

Lodge Moor is a beautiful location , I currently live in Broomhill and I am very happy here , everything is on my doorstep , shops , pubs , restaurants , good public transport links , but if money was no object I would buy an apartment in Cap 'de ' Agde , Naturist village in France , and devide my time between there and Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol , Spain , two great naturist resorts .

When i was a kid we lived at Southey it was great then but not now, I live in Oughterbridge now but would love to get back to Ecclesfield.

..... if I had the choice, I wouldn't choose Sheffield at all tbh.
