cytine   40 #1 Posted July 19, 2011 Just heard the sad news that Irene Carter, ex-BT operator at Hallam and Hillsborough exchanges, has passed away. I worked with Irene at Hillsborough DAC on nights in the 90s. She was great fun and a pleasure to work with.  Funeral on Thurs 21st at 3 pm, Hutcliffe Wood.  Look forward to seeing any "old" operators there.
